Mary's Bio

Mary is a native of the Bay Area.  Her career path has included 7 years as a Project Manager, 17 years as a residential Realtor in the Tri-Valley area, and (most recently) 8 years in the financial services industry.   After working for a large corporation for 5.5 of those years, she recently formed with another colleague a firm called Frontier Wealth Strategies.  Mary’s practice focuses on the areas of investment strategies, insurance, and fee-based financial planning.

Mary is very involved in community activities, including the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, local economic development planning, and ministry leadership, Toastmasters, and the American Association of University Women (AAUW), a national organization that helps women break through educational and economic barriers.

Mary graduated with honors from Sac State with a bachelor’s in Business Administration, and later earned her MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University.  In 2009, she passed the difficult CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) exam, earning this prestigious designation.

Mary is single and lives in Alamo with her yellow lab Frosty.   In her leisure time, she enjoys hiking, snow skiing, travel and exploring, time at the California coast, and great conversations with friends.

Mary‘s goal in working with her clients is to help them integrate their financial planning with their life planning.
